Advanced Noise Gate - VST Plugin
current version: 1.8
Advanced Noise Gate is a gating effect featuring internal and external sidechain filtering, multi-band output, and multi-band range. It also has two attack envelopes, independent/linked channel processing, ducking, both peak and RMS level detection, surround sound processing capability, and a number of other controls that can help shape envelopes and transients.
Advanced Gating ControlsWire Grind brand noise gates can gate in ways that other gates can't. They use not just signal level, but time, logic, and probability to control the gating. The onset of the attack envelope can be delayed, the time duration of notes can be shortened, sections of audio can be silenced, and entire beats can be removed probabilistically.
Advanced Equalization ControlsAdvanced Noise Gate uses special equalizers. The control signal has a three band equalizer with strong band separation. The output signal has a special split three band equalizer with six levels controls. These controls can provide multi-band range. They also offer other possibilities such as gating on one band while ducking on another.
Anti-Clicking TechnologyOther noise gates can create a clicking noise when using short attack times. In contrast, Advanced Noise Gate dramatically reduces clicking noise. This is made possible by our special proprietary gating algorithm.
Carefully Tuned EnvelopesAdvanced Noise Gate uses a release envelope that mimics the decay of a real instrument. There are also two optional attack envelopes. One envelope models the envelope of an analog synthesizer. The other envelope uses a smooth gradual volume swell that can be more perceptually pleasing with longer attack times.

System Requirements:Operating System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. We expect it to work in Windows 8, but this has not been tested. A test installer is available upon request if anyone wishes to verify installer compatibility.
Host Program: VST3 compatible host program. Host programs supporting more recent versions of VST2 will be able to use the VST2 version, although this version does not support the side chaining feature. Some hosts supporting both VST2 and VST3, might only work with the VST3 version. Try the demo versions to verify compatibility.
