Timed, Logical, and Probabilistic Gating
Wire Grind brand noise gates can gate in ways that other gates can't. Gating is not just based on signal level, but also time, logic, and probability. The onset of the attack envelope can be delayed, the time duration of notes can be shortened, sections of audio can be silenced, and entire beats can be removed probabilistically.
Anti-Clicking Technology
Other noise gates can create a clicking noise when using short attack times. In contrast, Noise Gate Plus dramatically reduces clicking noise. This is made possible by our special proprietary gating algorithm.
Carefully Tuned Envelopes
Noise Gate Plus uses a release envelope that mimics the decay of a real instrument. There are also two optional attack envelopes. One envelope models the envelope of an analog synthesizer. The other envelope uses a smooth gradual volume swell that can be more perceptually pleasing with longer attack times.
Other Features
Noise Gate Plus features also include side chaining (side chaining available in VST3 version only), two attack envelopes, range control, hysteresis control, independent/linked channel processing, ducking, and surround sound processing capability.

System Requirements:
Operating System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. We expect it to work in Windows 8, but this has not been tested. A test installer is available upon request if anyone wishes to verify installer compatibility.
Host Program: VST3 compatible host program. Host programs supporting more recent versions of VST2 will be able to use the VST2 version, although this version does not support the side chaining feature. Some hosts supporting both VST2 and VST3, might only work with the VST3 version. Try the demo versions to verify compatibility.
