Tremphatic is a powerful VST tremolo effect from Wire Grind. Its key distinguishing feature is an amplitude modulator that switches on and off depending on the signal level. It detects notes, and it aligns the modulation with the music. With 21 waveforms, sidechain processing, ducking, and restrictable LFO cycling, it's great for adding creative musical-sounding texture.

A Signal-Triggered LFO

The LFO switches on and off depending on the level of the incoming signal. It's a way to align the modulation waveform with individual notes whenever they happen to occur.

Choose from a palette of 21 waveforms. Featuring both classic and exotic shapes, there are endless possibilities for creative modulation.

LFO Cycling Control

Set the number of cycles and choose a cycle mode (at least, at most, exactly) to control when the LFO shuts off. While conceptually simple, it's a very powerful parameter.

Sidechain Processing

Use an external signal to trigger modulation on another track. Add depth and movement that aligns with existing rhythms.

Invert the trigger. Make the LFO cycle when the signal drops below the threshold instead. Great for getting more control over when texture is created.

Sync the LFO Rate and other controls with your DAW's tempo settings. Five different notes types (duplet, singlet, triplet, quartic, and quintic) are included. Rather than denoting them by type, Tremphatic denotes them as fractional whole notes (i.e. 3/32, 1/5). They're contained in a single list that's sorted (i.e. least to greatest) and scrollable.
